The new tournament is being conducted by the authorities of the committee. The tournament consists of several rounds of tables, where every one competes each other to grab the first place in the competition. Cherokee will host a total of three stops during the 2024/25 season, with the first one starting tomorrow and will run between August 1 – 23. The series will feature over $4 million in guaranteed prize money across 20 ring events.
Last August, the Main Event in Cherokee attracted a massive field of 1,623 entries, generating a total prize pool of $2,458,845 – one of the largest events of the 2023/24 WSOP Circuit season. Ohio’s Billy Kopp took home $376,154 for the win, and a similar first-place prize is expected this time around.
