PokerStars is reshuffling its strategy following the cancellation of the European Poker Tour Paris and speculation around EPT Prague. In 2025, the PokerStars Open will replace several iconic poker tours, including the UK and Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT), Eureka Poker Tour, Estrellas Poker Tour (ESPT), and France Poker Series (FPS). This series will feature six stops across Europe, offering new experiences and a fresh format for poker enthusiasts.
Key Highlights:
- Six stops across Europe, three of which are new locations
- The €1,100/£1,100 PokerStars Open Main Event at each stop
- €1M/£1M guaranteed prize pool for each main event
- Featuring 45th Annual Irish Open and EPT Monte Carlo and EPT Barcelona events
- PokerStars promises a unique experience at each stop, combining high-stakes action with local culture
Cédric Billot, Associate Director of Live Events Operations at PokerStars, explained, “The PokerStars Open provides more flexibility, offering million-guaranteed events across Europe. Players will experience incredible events that ladder up to the EPT while standing strong on their own.”
