$2,200 Warm Up: Bigger Guarantee, Bigger Stakes

The action kicks off on January 14 with the $2,200 buy-in Warm Up, now boasting a $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool, up from last year’s $800,000. Featuring four starting flights, including a turbo Day 1D, this event promises intense competition.

Last year’s Warm Up attracted 446 players, generating an $820,640 prize pool. Italy’s Simone Andrian claimed victory, pocketing $165,000. With the increased guarantee this year, the stakes are higher, and the prize pool could surpass expectations.

$5,300 High Roller: Bigger Rewards Await

Starting on January 17, the $5,300 High Roller offers a $500,000 guarantee, significantly up from 2024’s $300,000. The event concludes on January 20, where a new champion will emerge. Belarus’ Maksim Shornikau secured $177,500 last year; 2025 promises even larger payouts for the High Roller titleholder.

$3,300 Main Event: The Pinnacle of the Series

The $3,300 Main Event is the crown jewel of the Merit Poker Western Series. Running from January 20-26, it guarantees a massive $1,500,000 prize pool, matching the 2024 edition. Last year, Mohamed Mokrani triumphed over 672 entrants, walking away with $342,500 from the $1,854,720 prize pool. Will this year’s champion set a new benchmark?

    More Action-Packed Events

Beyond these marquee tournaments, the 2025 Merit Poker Western Series features an array of exciting competitions:

    • $1,650 Luxon Pay Mystery Bounty ($150,000 GTD)
    • $1,100 Mix-Max Event ($100,000 GTD)
    • $1,100 PLO Double Board Bomb Pot ($50,000 GTD)
    • $3,300 OPE Classic ($100,000 GTD)

Players can also look forward to daily satellites, a $1,100 Seniors event, a $220 Women’s Championship, and more. With events tailored for every poker enthusiast, this series promises to be an unforgettable experience.

A Poker Paradise in North Cyprus

Whether you’re chasing glory in the Main Event or enjoying side events, the Merit Poker Western Series 2025 offers something for everyone. The luxurious venue, combined with world-class poker action, makes this an unmissable festival.

Pack your bags and head to North Cyprus this January for two weeks of poker excellence. See you at the tables!
