Daniel Negreanu and his wife Amanda are venturing into the podcasting world with a fresh show called the Mania Podcast, set to premiere on November 12 on YouTube and other platforms. Known for his influence in the poker community and his popular DAT Poker Podcast, Negreanu is now exploring topics beyond poker for this new venture.
Amanda Negreanu (formerly Leatherman) is no stranger to Daniel’s fans, often appearing in his World Series of Poker (WSOP) vlogs. Their bond, established before their marriage in 2019, is set to be a central theme as the couple tackles a variety of personal and general interest topics.
Expanding Beyond Poker
Daniel Negreanu, a GGPoker ambassador with over 860,000 YouTube subscribers, is widely recognized for his poker prowess. But his social media following is equally familiar with his takes on issues outside the game, from hockey to political views. Recently, he gained attention for his political commentary, particularly in relation to the U.S. elections, as well as his avid support for the Vegas Golden Knights hockey team.
With Mania Podcast, Negreanu shared they’ll aim to post episodes weekly, though the schedule may shift with their travel. The first episode promises a look into the couple’s life, covering how they met and Amanda’s experience with a bipolar diagnosis. Negreanu hinted that they drew inspiration from various podcasts but wanted to create something unique with Mania.
Amanda joined Daniel at the Horseshoe Las Vegas in June when he ended an 11-year WSOP bracelet drought, winning the $50,000 Poker Players Championship. As Mania Podcast debuts, fans of Negreanu and new listeners alike will get a glimpse into the couple’s lives beyond the poker table.
