Poker Powerhouse Adds to Trophy Case
Las Vegas, NV (October 26, 2024) – Alex Foxen, the poker superstar from Huntington, New York, has struck again! Foxen conquered the WSOP Online Event #17 – PLO $200K GTD Mystery Bounty 6-Max on WSOP.com, taking home $39,271 (including $19,207 in bounties). This victory proves his mastery across both high-stakes tournaments and the online grind.
Playing under the alias “Serapis11,” Foxen faced off against fellow poker legend Dan Smith in a heads-up battle. Smith, a Poker Triple Crown winner with nearly $55.60 million in career earnings, also sought his second bracelet. However, Foxen emerged victorious, securing his second WSOP title. Smith finished runner-up, taking $14,790 (including $243 in bounties).
This win comes on the heels of Foxen’s near miss at the WSOP Europe €25,000 NLH GGMillion€, where he finished second to Italy’s Alessandro Pichierri.
Dominant Household
Foxen’s first bracelet win came in 2022, conquering the WSOP Europe $250,000 Super High Roller for a career-best $4.50 million! His wife, Kristen (Bicknell) Foxen, holds four of her own, making her the all-time female bracelet leader. Kristen nearly added to her collection at the WSOP Main Event this summer, finishing a career-best 16th for $600,000. Talk about a power couple!
